Just sold my client on a nice chunky programme of systems transformation - multiple key infrastructure upgrades, a bunch of technology previews/POCs and naturally some cloud and automation. Big step changes in how they do things and all delivered by yours truly. Am I doing this right?

Oh, I was only meant to be moving some apps around

So who else is brightening up their CV?

Ideally in reverse. Act trustworthy -> appear trustworthy -> promise kept -> "Q: what promise did you make? A: the one I kept."

The best client is a client that hasn't got a clue what they want. When you're done, that's what they wanted.

Nicely done. Now if they need some help bringing their security up to date to cover the new technology, you know who to ask
