      Make up your mind.
Fact is someone of your level of intelligence is only kept afloat by more intelligent people, in one way or another.
The 75000 bankers are not super rich.

They will not offer full time employment to anyone from their salaries.

They higher paid amongst them may have employed a cleaner.

Jeezus christ in a poncho you do spout some utter utter tripe.

Depends what level of bankers are leaving doesn't it?
Is it back office or is it for example traders.
The latter are on millions and even the former are among the most highly paid in the land.
And you say I spout tripe?
None of these people are on your sort of pittance.

I don't believe it will happen. But I hope so.

There was a survey recently on people who earned > £500k a year.

Most described themselves as not doing very well as they knew people whose net worth was £10m+

                  Most of them are liars.

There was a well known poster round here who had 7 BTLs. He said publicly he had 34 just to shut sasguru up.

_Some_ new approaches may be necessary, especially once jobs start drying up en masse over the next twenty or thirty years, as they undoubtedly will on present trends.

But, flip me, that article reads like a communist manifesto. For example, why shouldn't people and corporations profit from their patents, at least for a while?

Better to have had 2 or 3 BTLs in London than 50 in the arse end of nowhere.
