Don't forget the bit about being arrested for just speaking his mind.

    I'm alright Jack

It does somewhat depend what is in one's mind.

Some of us knew this on Friday afternoon when this all kicked off...

          But this is mere reality.

Funny how you didn't hear him "reporting on the situation" in this case.

            https://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...-a8231231.html

A “senior member” of the far-right English Defence League has been jailed for sexually abusing a schoolgirl dozens of times.

Leigh McMillan, 46, groomed his 10-year-old victim with cigarettes and drugs before subjecting her to a “spiral of sexual abuse” during the mid-1990s, jurors at the Old Bailey heard.

It looks like the outbreak can be traced back to https://www.ukipdaily.com/it-didnt-h...ommy-robinson/.

A fascinating insight into the mental incompetence of kippers.

Absolute twaddle. The guy was arrested, because he was in contempt of court, and was recording jurors. Jurors must be anonymous at ALL times.
He also tried to groom a 15 year old kid, and interestingly he's always been conveniently quiet when far right extremists groomed kids. He also almost got the trial thrown out of court, and nearly jeopardised it. He nearly let potential groomers go free. In this country, we allow for fair trials. He assumed the people inside were guilty, even before the jurors heard all the evidence. If TR doesn't like it, he is more than free to go and live in a country, where they don't have fair trials.

I will also call him a racist, given that he conflates race and religion. The person you're talking about said "You're pretty fit for a Muslim" to someone on twitter, who remarked that she's 15. He had absolutely no idea what her faith was. He assumed it based entirely on her colour.

There is also no media blackout .

Reporting restrictions are in place during such cases in an effort to make the trial fair and not to put undue pressure/influence on those involved in the case - defendants, prosecutors, witnesses, judges, jury, etc.
                  Exactly.
Look at the following video from last year. Tommy Robinson was harassing the defendants as they were walking into court, accusing them of being guilty of the crimes they were on trial for. Highly unfair on them - everyone is entitled to a free trial.

Tommy Robinson has always been a nasty bit of work. I wonder if the Police gave him enough rope this time around.

Though the UKIP article does point out that most people accused of such unpleasant crimes should be on remand.

Also there is no doubt the Police have been backpedalling on charging people from certain communities because they are afraid. Though in my experience they wouldn't be able to find their elbows.

There is quite a lot of anger about.
