So what is it:
Police have not launched a manhunt in relation to the attack, and said there was no one else in the car and no intelligence of a further risk to the public in London or elsewhere in Britain.
Theresa May has said the UK's terror threat level remains at "severe", following this morning's crash.
It means a fresh attack is highly likely.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

It is understood police have identified the man and that he is from the Midlands. The owner of the car is known to police, the Guardian understands, although it is unclear whether the suspect is that owner.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

The driver is a recently British fellow of Sudanese origin, so probably Muslim, but no motive has been announced although it's still be treated as a terrorist incident.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment
