      Mike Ashley = +
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

Since people can't go out for non-essential items then he's not going to sell much. It's not like he is Screwfix or something which sells to the trade, so he will end up closing his stores anyway.

You can buy footwear, including crap trainers, from supermarkets if you are desperate.

You can buy leisure wear and sports clothes from supermarkets or online.

You can buy sporting items online.

In short there is absolutely no reason for Sports Direct to have their stores open.

Lets be clear. Mike Ashley's wealth comes first.

One casually wonders just how much debt has financed Ashley's rise up the high street.

Especially when you can order online from Sports Direct and the delivery services are now an essential support that will remain available so people don't need to go out as much.

I had a new pair of running shoes delivered yesterday after getting 50% off online. Though now the gyms are closed there are likely too many out and about exercising so it requires awareness to dodge others to keep distance. I was running down the road this morning to keep away from others, now the roads are so quiet.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.
