                  The neighbour is being an arse but I don't think there's much you can do about it.

                  Technically, they did the wrong thing in cutting the bamboo but any action risks you having a dispute of the type that may require notifying potential buyers of.

                  Just focus on getting the house sold and getting the hell away from them.
