I keep reading the experts saying that (healthy) children don't die from CV-19 but they're not saying that they can get it and we all know that they do but don't tend to show symptoms. This means that if child A has it, passes it on then numerous other people might get it. We know that children are not the best of keeping track of their movements, once school is out, they're on public transport, they're visiting shops and so on and trying to track and trace their movements would be practically impossible. Other countries are already seeing problems with children going back to school so expect to see more localised lockdowns after 1st September.
There is a solution though...boarding schools, keep children in a confined area for a school term and it should all be okay. Now where could these be? How about all those empty office blocks? They have lots of offices which could be used as dorms and conference/meeting rooms as classrooms, canteens as dining areas, even empty barracks could also be used. Win-win situation, children get educated, landlords earn money on the rent...
