UK (remainder of) will have no veto blocking Scotland joining EU - which was the case before Brexit, a very good reason to vote against independence, now that’s goneComment

The SNP brass know this, but they cannot be seen to admit it, so they keep kicking the can further and further down the road whilst keeping the mouth breathers happy.
What a load of coswallop. Of course it can. Just like any other small country. The state is bloated to the extremes with public services no one needs."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

A climate-change focused future and gradual move to compatible companies and working ethos, with far better welfare provision will help to justify the tax increases for very large businesses and very rich individuals. As an example, it is very difficult to tax evade in Norway. Individual and corporate tax is published by law. I have no qualms with anybody viewing how much tax I pay. It's part of the social contract to pay tax but not overpay. This has unfortunately been lost, due to Westminster's refusal to finally tackle the tax evasion and very aggressive avoidance methodologies once and for all.
For reference, 'wokie' or 'woke' actually means empathetic. When you substitute this word it's easy to understand most policies. For example, do you donate to charity to look good and be 'woke' or do you do it out of goodness? People donate out of goodness, but under this weird 'wokie' definition nobody does anything out of empathy and kindness but instead just acts of out selfish interest. Perhaps head to Russia, you and Ayn Rand's family may get on well. Except they hate her and are ashamed, so perhaps not.
The UK government now is probably the worse one in recent history, since the war, in terms of competence and capability. In Scotland we have a more organised government that is clearly more capable and professional. I expect years of coalition once independence is achieved, which is how a proportional representation democracy is expected to work much of the time.
If you fancy a first past the post system in which a small minority can vote for the incompetent Boris&co then perhaps you may fancy moving to England once independence is achieved? It's one of the few western developed nations that will still use such a system. It seems likely NI will instead move towards the Irish model of governance and Wales seems keen too. The UK has failed due to poor government and bad democratic structure.
At least Scottish people are looking for a better viable alternative, as has proven successful elsewhere.
What would you prefer happen up in Scotland? Genuine question.Comment

Ideally from trade fees England pays for access to the single market.
