    Holiday Plans ??

So you can still go on holiday as no one is enforcing at airports (worse case a 200 quid fine, but they wont stop you going on Holiday)

the few weeks before official travel restrictions are over are like 000's cheaper - No brainer surly if you have been vaccinated already?

I heard somewhere that the government do not have enough quarantine hotels either with some of the larger chains refusing to host on PR grounds.

So how does that work? You just rock up with the family at Gatwick and get on a plane, no questions asked, or they do ask your purpose of travel and you just say "holiday" and hand over another £800? Sounds a bit dodgy, but I can see the logic. A lot of places are still banning people from the UK though, are they not?

Airlines can prevent you from travelling and other countries can prevent you entering. So you can book and then turn up at the airport or at the other side then be sent home or elsewhere. There are stories of people who have been refused entry at airports in the Netherlands and NY because they were going on holiday.

Laws generally rely on people following them peaceably/voluntarily rather than by being forced to, so this doesn't seem so different. If you want to break the law to save a few quid, it's not particularly difficult.
