      Well done to:

basshead, DiscoStu, KentPhilip, Money Money Money, oracleslave, Pickle2

Who correctly chose a 2% monthly fall for September house prices (Nationwide). Closest to the 1.7% fall recorded.

The last positive monthly figure will fall out next month making for a nice healthy annual fall.

Dim One, have you thought of hoovering up some BTLs in Ashford, Kent, the pin up boys of the BTL game who built up a 900+ portfolio are starting to show the stain and looking to sell a few ?

No thanks. Nothing worse than a nasty stain on your BTL.

The 1.5% option was the closest.

What was the monthly change in orkney?

It's sweaty business owning 900 highly leveraged BTLs.

But no one voted for that option, so the closest one... forget it.

Looking at the latest graph of Nationwide adjusted for retail prices (whatever that entails), house prices don't look far off the long term trend.
