[QUOTE=dang65;990454Can you imagine how you would feel if Evolution was treated as a political belief and a lifestyle choice!?[/QUOTE]You are being ironic, aren't you? Or do you need to be told about the Merkin bible belt and the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

        I want to believe.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Well - you can believe that if you want to.

Climate Change (on either side of the mass debate), can be argued scientifically, or emotionally. The greens tend to do it emotionally, as they are "true believers". ACC really suits their belief system, so it is akin to a religious belief - proof is used to bolster their beliefs; lack of proof, or falsifiying proof is rejected.

Opponents to ACC may also be true believers - their mindset determined by hatred of greens.
