How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Exactly. Hence why BBC etc are stating the actual result could very well be different.
Not necessarily. I took my postal vote into the polling station as did a number of others judging by the pile in the room. So, equally, those people taking in the postals could have been included in the 'exit' poll.
The exit polls have been misleading before, I think that that tends to happen when the voters are not very enthused about the choice that they are being offered.
I can offer no prediction on the effect that that will have on the outcome today though.
Still, all good stuff. I thought that I would have to make do with Radio 4 streamed over the internet but BBC World are showing the BBC's coverage. Thank you licence fee payers!
