    Pound selling off USD : 1.4750, EUR : 0.8565

Hell, I'm fed up with it already - I'm going to bed.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Hold your horses, these 'exit polls' I heard are based on the voting declarations of just 18,000 people, I thought we had a potential 44 million voters to account for.

They also don't take postal votes into account.

Exactly. Hence why BBC etc are stating the actual result could very well be different.

You girls and boys keep watching the election.

Im far more interested in the 10% drop on the Dow earlier and Im presently setting up all of my stock trades for the next month.

Whoever gets in, it's all down down down tomorrow!!!

                Keep looking over there!

Not necessarily. I took my postal vote into the polling station as did a number of others judging by the pile in the room. So, equally, those people taking in the postals could have been included in the 'exit' poll.

The exit polls have been misleading before, I think that that tends to happen when the voters are not very enthused about the choice that they are being offered.

I can offer no prediction on the effect that that will have on the outcome today though.

Still, all good stuff. I thought that I would have to make do with Radio 4 streamed over the internet but BBC World are showing the BBC's coverage. Thank you licence fee payers!
