I don't watch standard definition channels.

Nice to know I'm not the only person watching it. Though I tend to see it on iPlayer.

The poor are quite often poor because they don't know when to save money and instead waste their hard earned pennies on needless extravagances. Whereas those that make it to the top of the pile know that it isn't necessary to present a false facade of success by flaunting extravagances. Those that become rich do so by knowing that a clean, usually more comfortable B&B at a quarter of the price of the ostentatious, but generally crappy, "businessman's" hotel are going to have a correspondingly greater amount of disposable income at the end of the year.

              It was surprisingly good.
The quality of the BBC Four (and Three) programmes are usually top class. I particularly enjoyed last night's "Pain, Pus and Poison" very interesting and had a lot of food for thought.

Not a lot of pus though, mostly opioides.

Amazing to think that no one has come up with a better painkiller in the intervening 200 years or so.

I think we have the pus to look forward to.

                      Well pus was okay.
However, The Strange Science of Decay is looking very promising.
