Up and down and not reversed for the same reason that North, South, East and West are not reversed. They are absolute but left and right are relative to the viewer.

    Edit: linguistic trivia

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guugu_Y...nguage#Grammar

The language is notable for its use of pure geographic directions (north, south, east, west) rather than egocentric directions (left, right, forward, backward).,[5] though such "purity" is disputed[6]
So presumably, you turn North, rather than left.

Up and down are also relative to the viewer you idjut.

Also we see the world upside down, the brain just compensates.

So if you stand on your head, does gravity work differently?

False argument. You are truly stupid. Up and down != gravity.

                You have excrement for brains.

Because the mirror reflects without reversing. Stuff at the bottom stays at the bottom, stuff at the left stays on the left etc.

When you look directly at something you are turned through half a circle and so left and right get swapped, but you don't have the same effect on up and down.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Because your eyes are next to each other not one on top of the other.
