    By Jove, that's a plan!

    Bit more gardening done.

Some concrete blocks relocated from next door to the bottom of my garden.

Gigantic spider most upset by this.

Tea: the last of Sunday's rather delectable roast beef with carrots and onions again, orange segments (pippy) and custard, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Entertainment: Sewer Men at 19:00, thereafter the special on the Up Pompeii dvd.
    When the fun stops, STOP.

once open, beer never goes back in the fridge or anywhere else.

That got as far as finding out that Sewer Men wasn't on.

So it turned out that the last half hour of the 2nd Planet of the Apes (1971) was on.

In which a Doomsday Weapon was set off.

                      Fade to black.

Voice over informing the audience that the earth was dead.

You can't beat a happy ending.

Now we're on to "Further Up Pompeii (1975)", not to be confused with "Further Up Pompeii (1991)", one being made by BBC and the latter being made by ITV, and thus isn't on the dvd.
