There are hundreds of models out there so I wouldn't know where to start. I just need to make sure it has a built in mic and video quality is good. see they are typically around £20/£30 but I don't mind spending a lot more for a better product.
Can anyone recommend one?

I have a Logitech C930e. Excellent webcam. Only place I could get it was on ebay during the 1st lockdown at almost twice its price. Its widescreen though so picks up all the clutter in the backgroundComment

I picked up a Logitech Brio from the MS Store last summer - was a pain to get due to the fluctuating stock (and it's still out of stock most days). It has Windows Hello face recognition too which is quite useful and would recommend it.
Alternatively I also use my Sony A6500 camera as a webcam on a tripod when I want to sit away from my PC. Many modern DSLR and mirrorless cameras can be configured to be webcams now.Last edited by redgiant; 9 January 2021, 14:54.Comment

I got a no name one from Amazon for £5. The camera works great but for some reason the microphone doesn't work with zoom. A £5 microphone fixed that and now I'm set. My work has settled into nobody using their cameras anyway except for the managers. That way you don't have to dress or clean up.Comment
